Rule Collider

Terms of service

Last updated 2026-11-02. The service is operated by the Rule Collider operator.

1. What Rule Collider is

Rule Collider runs historical simulations of trading rules on broker price data and shows the result with the out-of-sample part first. It is a research tool. It is not investment advice, not a broker, not a signal service and it places no trades. Past results do not predict future results. Decisions about money are yours alone, and we are not liable for trading losses.

2. Accounts

One person per account. You are responsible for what happens under your sign-in. We may suspend an account that abuses the service, for example by automating runs beyond the fair-use limits or by trying to extract raw price data.

3. Plans, trials and billing

Prices and limits are listed on the account page. Subscriptions renew each month or year until cancelled from the billing portal; cancelling keeps the plan until the end of the paid period. The Trader trial lasts fourteen days, needs a card, and converts to the monthly plan unless cancelled before it ends. Payments are taken by our payment provider, the merchant of record, which issues the invoice and handles tax. A first charge can be refunded on request within fourteen days; later charges are not refunded. Write to support@rulecollider.com for refunds and billing questions.

4. Acceptable use

Do not offer the results as a service of your own, scrape the site, share an account, or attempt to recover bars, ticks or any raw price series from the service. Everything the service returns is derived data (trade records, curves, statistics).

5. Your rules, our service

Rules you build are yours. A result you share by link is visible to anyone with the link until you revoke it. The feature vocabulary, the research catalogue, the engine and the site are ours; you may not copy them beyond normal use of the service.

6. No warranty, limited liability

The service is provided as is. Data can have gaps, broker conditions change, and a simulation is a model, not a record of real trading. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or trading losses of any kind.

7. Changes, termination, law

We may change the service and these terms; material changes are announced on the site with a new date above. You may close your account at any time by writing to support@rulecollider.com. These terms are governed by the law of the operator's jurisdiction, stated with the operator's name above and on the invoice.
