The waitlist
When you join the waitlist we keep your email address, the time, the page you signed up on and the version of the consent line you saw. The record lives in our own database (Amazon Web Services) and the address is also added to our mailing list at Resend, which sends the confirmation, the launch email, early-access invitations and the weekly Decay Report from hello@rulecollider.com. Every email has an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops all of them. Nothing else is done with the address, and it is never sold or shared. To be removed entirely, write to support@rulecollider.com. The site sets no cookies and runs no trackers.
What we keep once you have an account
- Your email address and the identifier our sign-in provider assigns you.
- The rules you build, the runs you start and their results, and the links you share.
- Daily usage counters (runs per day) for the plan limits.
- Your plan and its status as reported by the payment provider. Card numbers never reach us.
- Server logs (IP address, browser, time, path) for security and fault finding, kept thirty days.
Why
To run the service you signed up for, enforce the plan limits, bill subscriptions, and send the transactional emails the service needs: a welcome, a note when a long run finishes, a notice before a trial ends, and a notice when a payment fails. Data is never sold and there are no advertising trackers.
Who processes it for us
- Sign-in: Clerk (authentication).
- Payments: the merchant of record named at checkout (Paddle).
- Email: Resend.
- Hosting: Amazon Web Services for this site and the waitlist; the servers and object storage that run the app, its API, the database and the result files.
Each processor sees only what its job needs.
Cookies
This site sets none. In the app, a session cookie keeps you signed in and the browser may keep small conveniences such as a chosen tab. Nothing is used for advertising.
Shared links
A result you share is visible to anyone who has the link, without an account. Revoke the link from the run page to stop that.
How long, and your rights
Waitlist records stay until you unsubscribe or ask for removal, and are deleted after launch once the launch email has gone out. Account data stays while the account exists; result files for old runs may be pruned after a period stated on the runs page. You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of the account and everything in it by writing to support@rulecollider.com. If you are in the EU or the UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
